MangoRSS Privacy Policy

MangoRSS does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What stays on your device

Your feeds, folders, tags, smart filters, highlights, notes and what you have read are stored on your device. Passwords you give for password-protected feeds are kept in the device Keychain.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, MangoRSS syncs your feeds, folders, tags, smart filters, highlights and read state between your devices through your own private iCloud database. We cannot see or access it. Articles themselves are not synced; each device downloads them from the feeds.

The sites you follow

MangoRSS contacts the feed and web addresses you add, to fetch their articles, and fetches article pages when you use Reader View or offline downloads. Those sites can see your device's network address, as with any app or browser. No request goes through our servers.

Purchases

MangoRSS Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we do not receive your payment details.

On-device features

Summaries, Listen (speech) and Translate run on your device with Apple's frameworks.

Children

MangoRSS does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this ever changes, the new policy will be published here and the app's privacy answers on the App Store will be updated.
